Description
A wireless wearable device that straps to the hand and uses a gyroscope module, three finger switches, and a radio module to control a computer without a traditional mouse or keyboard. A paired receiver module plugs into the computer via USB.
- Moving your hand moves the cursor correspondingly.
- Pulling the index finger left-clicks.
- Pulling the middle finger right-clicks.
- Pulling the ring finger re-centres the cursor.
- Holding left and right click simultaneously freezes the cursor and converts hand motion into scroll input.
I built this while doing classroom presentations where I constantly had to look down at the laptop to change slides. Wearing the controller meant I could navigate freely while facing the audience.
