Description
A physical volume controller for Android car head units with a USB port. The touchscreen volume buttons are fiddly and distracting while driving, so I built a dedicated knob as a safer alternative.
The Arduino Leonardo presents itself to the head unit as a USB HID keyboard. Turning the knob sends volume up or volume down keypresses, adjusting the volume without touching the screen.
